My recent enthusiasm for programs of enforced self-discipline may have gone too far: I decided to take a crack at NaNoWriMo. If I'm to have any hope of "winning," as they say, then I must simply forget about this space for the month. This note is to explain the silence. I hope I'll be back soon, though, and with fingers that fly faster and surer than ever.
